Reflecting......

So I haven't been on here for  a long time so I figured it was time to update on everything.
Everything has been going well with work I guess....work is....well work. Been keeping busy as ever. I've been struggling with myself it seems lately...not sure why I've been having a hard time with things.  Stress with every day things seem to fill my head making it hard to sleep and with endless headaches.  Some days I feel like I'm not getting anywhere and feel stuck. Things about money and stability have never gotten to me like they have lately but I guess since I'm getting older that is starting to change...yes I'm getting old...I guess that is partially something that bothers me even though there is really nothing I can do about it!:) My always said the older you get the faster the time goes by and boy was he ever right!! I guess you just have to take every day as it comes and go with it!  I've been having issues with my income...nothing ever seems to be enough.  I feel like I work so hard and have nothing to show for it...something needs to change soon...very soon I am hoping!! :):) Just as soon as I start to feel like I might be getting ahead something comes up and then everything I have worked for is gone....my car is at fault here lol but I am so so very grateful for a wonderful dad whom is a mechanic and is able to help me with anything that I need! I love you so much dad!! :) I don't like to complain...just needed to vent for a couple minutes. At the end of the day when I sit back and look at everything I really do have a lot to be thankful for. A family who would do anything for me and friends whom I absolutely cannot live without. More importantly a wonderful and loving God that gives me strength and courage when I feel like I don't have any left!  So I'll end this with saying....Dear God....thank you for this wonderful day that you have provided me with. I have so much to be thankful for and knowing that you are near me and listening to my every prayer helps me get through the day. Thank you for my friends, family and health....in Jesus name I pray....Amen.

Catching up time :)

Well I have not been on here in a while....so time for yet another update!! Just been super busy working at the hospital still and loving it!!  Still watching kids too...they just make my day.  Gives me something to look forward to after a long day at work!!

My sweet Papa is still hanging in there. He still remembers us all when we all go to see him...so that is something that we treasure dearly. I love you so much Papa!! <3

A friend of mine was in town this past weekend to celebrate her birthday...so a bunch of us met up to celebrate with her!!!! I had sooooo much FUN!!!!!! We went out to RA for sushi....and realized I don't care for raw fish!!! No thank you!!! Then we all went back to Leah's house for Kassie to open presents and have desert. Then the girls all changed clothes while the guys "patiently" waited for us:) Then we went off to Grahams for a night full of dancing and singing. Such a fun place to go!! Then after Grahams closed...all eight of us piled into a little car for the drive home....just like high school!! After hanging out in the hot tub...me and the three others that were still awake went to Filibertos for some yummy late night food. I finally made it to bed around 4:45 am Sunday....after having one of the best nights of my life!! Thank you Kassie, Jeremy, Kolt, Codi, Garret, Leah and Elise!!!!! Can't wait to go out and do it all over again...you guys are the best!!!

It's been a while......

So....I have not been on here in forever!!! I just get busy with life but I thought I give a little update.
Life is going good...been an ok new year so far. I am looking forward to what the New Year may possibly bring! :) I have now been working at the hospital for about 17 months and I still love it. It's crazy how fast the time goes by. I'm just thankful to be working. It's been so great getting in touch with everyone through all of these differents sites...especially neat to watch my friends as they marry and become parents.  Such an amazing thing in life to sit back and watch people who mean a lot to you to grow. I can't wait until it's my turn. I used to be so bummed because all of my friends are married with kids but then I just realized it's just not my time yet. At 26 years old....I'm ok with being single for the first time in my life.  I'm working on loving me ( which I do now more than I did) and building a better relationship in my faith with God. I know God has a plan for me and I can't wait to see what that may be! :) I have been blessed with a family who loves me and with friends that I can't live without...so life is pretty good. I'll try and get on here more but I figured I would just do a small update for now!! Everyone take care :)

I have to say that today was pretty great.  I got up this morning (I was off so I was able to sleep past 5 am which was AMAZING) and met up with Erin. Erin is a good friend of mine which I have known for about ten years (we met freshman year of high school). Anyways...we went to Uncle Bears and had a really nice long lunch...about two and a half hours!! It always amazes me how we can go a month with out seeing eachother and can pick up right where we left off from a month ago. Afterwards I went and picked up my sister...and we went to pick up a new member of our family..an adorable white lab mix named Marley!! He is only seven weeks right now and is a ton of fun.  I'll be bring him to work with me on Monday so he can get his first set of shots!! 
Then later on today I had dinner...Roast! So yummy. After dinner...my sister's friend brought her little one Emery over for us to watch since she was moving tonight..so I'm sure you all know who held Emery all night...yep it was me!!:) Such a little sweetheart. I held her even through the first movie I watched in our theatre room....Step Brothers.  It was an ok movie...so then after the movie and after laying Emery down I watched Definately Maybe with the girls. Great movie if you have not seen it...very cute!! So overall I would say today was a great day...all I can say is I'm so happy tomorrow is not monday!!

My Sweet Pa-pa

As many May know my Pa-pa is struggling and battling Parkinson's Disease and Alzheimers. It is a day to day struggle but I am so thankful to have him in my life. There are days when I go to see him and he might be confused and say things that don't make sense but when I see him he smiles and still remembers who I am so far.:) He is such a strong and amazing person and I love him so much. You don't realize how lucky and fortunate in life you are until you have to watch someone you love and care about go through what he has to go through. If you could please keep him in your prayers I would be so grateful.

Fun Weekend at Grahams :)

So this weekend I went to Grahams for a friends birthday. And by the way for anyone who really knows me...you know this is pretty big! :) After a long long long long night of everyone trying to get me on the mechanical bull....I finally gave in. I'm pretty sure that will be a one time thing so here is my proof with a picture for you to see....you can't see my face but I was laughing and smiling the whole time!!
